With the acceleration of urbanization, the visual convergence phenomenon brought by the wave of standardized construction has become more and more prominent, and the color expression of urban public space has gradually fallen into the predicament of cultural disconnection and loss of individuality. The mechanical application of modern design language has dissolved the regional attributes, the local cultural genes tend to be invisible in the spatial visual system, and the color, as an important carrier of environmental narrative, fails to effectively participate in the construction of cultural identity. This visual aphasia not only weakens the identifiability of the city, but also blocks the public's cultural memory connection based on environmental color. Therefore, this paper discusses the translation mechanism of urban public art's intervention in color planning and its driving path for local cultural remodeling, in the hope of providing theoretical references for breaking through the chronic problem of superficial application of cultural symbols and constructing regional visual ecosystems with sustained cultural vitality.
