in the context of deepening quality education, junior high school art education is of great significance to cultivate students' aesthetic and creative ability. As a key element of art creation, color is an important tool for students to explore and create beauty. This paper points out the problems existing in the current junior high school art color teaching. This paper expounds the necessity of innovating teaching mode with color as the carrier to expand students' development dimension, activate internal motivation and optimize the allocation of educational resources. In order to promote the development of teaching and lay the foundation for the cultivation of future talents, this paper puts forward the innovative strategies of integrating multicultural resources, adopting diversified teaching methods, building a process and developmental evaluation system, integrating modern scientific and technological means, and strengthening interdisci plinary integration.
