In junior high school art education, color instruction should be closely aligned with students’ real-life experiences. Given that students are widely exposed to colors, possess keen color perception, demonstrate rich associations with color, and exhibit diverse aesthetic preferences, teachers should adhere to the fundamental principles of integrating life, prioritizing perception, guiding expression, and creating contexts in their teaching practice. By designing learning activities around familiar everyday situations, teachers can help students develop a deeper understanding of the relationship between color and life, stimulate their desire for artistic expression, and enhance their overall aesthetic literacy and creative abilities.
