Under the guidance of quality education, primary school art teachers need to transform their color teaching concepts, innovate color teaching models, and effectively cultivate students' creativity to enhance their developmental levels. Given the disparities in individual learning levels and knowledge mastery among students, teachers must adjust art color teaching plans based on individual student conditions to strengthen teaching effectiveness. This paper addresses the current issues in primary school art color teaching and proposes teaching strategies centered on creativity cultivation, covering aspects such as the reconstruction of teaching objectives, innovation in teaching content, optimization of teaching methods, and reform in teaching evaluation.
