In the era of the Internet, the wave of digitalization is beginning to approach the field of cultural arts. Compared to digital methods, in the appreciation of oil painting colors, the limitations of traditional approaches are more evident, making it difficult to expand communication channels and interpretative dimensions, as well as to broaden audience coverage. This article approaches the topic from this perspective, examining the integration of digital technology with the appreciation of oil painting colors, and deeply exploring the application value and existing challenges of digital technology in oil color appreciation, while specifically investigating strategies for its application. The aim is to enhance the appreciation experience based on digital technology, deeply explore the artistic connotations of color, and promote the deeper and more widespread development of oil painting appreciation activities.
