Abstract
Against the backdrop of ongoing and deepening educational reforms, significant changes have taken place in the teaching philosophy and methods of junior high school art subjects, with a greater emphasis on cultivating students' core competencies. Project-based teaching, as a novel teaching model, plays a crucial role in stimulating students' learning initiative. This article specifically combines junior high school art color teaching to analyze and explore the practical strategies of projectbased teaching, focusing on several aspects: clarifying project objectives, breaking down project tasks, promoting project execution, organizing project activities, presenting project outcomes, and implementing project evaluation. It is hoped that this article can provide some reference and guidance for promoting junior high school art color teaching.
