In the context of quality education, the comprehensive development of students' comprehensive abilities has become the focus of education. In primary school art education, color teaching is the key to cultivating students' aesthetic ability and innovative thinking. However, there are still many problems in current primary school color teaching, such as a single teaching method and insufficient cultivation of students' creativity. This article analyzes the necessity of cultivating students' creativity in color teaching and the current teaching situation, and proposes a series of innovative teaching strategies, including creating scenarios to stimulate creative inspiration, using fun games to cultivate innovative consciousness, interdisciplinary integration to expand thinking horizons, interactive communication to collide thinking sparks, using technology to enrich color experience, and internalizing color perception in life. The aim is to provide reference for the cultivation of students' creativity in color teaching.
