With the continuous improvement of social and cultural needs, color, as the core element of graphic design, has increasingly highlighted its value in emotional communication and visual communication. However, there are still many problems in current graphic design practice that seriously restrict the effective dissemination of visual information. The study systematically explores the deep mechanisms and application rules of color emotional expression by analyzing the emotional expression forms of color in graphic design. Research has shown that the reasonable use of colors can not only enhance the attractiveness and infectiousness of works, but also better convey design intentions and enhance the audience's experience. Therefore, designers should flexibly choose colors based on the specific needs of the project and the characteristics of the target audience, pay attention to the coordination and rationality of color matching, and continuously improve their understanding and application ability of color psychology, in order to create beautiful and resonant works.
