In the process of the diversified development of art, the freehand landscape painting of Chinese painting and the color of Western Impressionist landscape oil painting, as artistic expression styles under different cultural backgrounds, have received extensive attention. Freehand landscape painting emphasizes the creation of interest and artistic conception, hoping to pursue the mutual integration of the soul and nature, while the color of Impressionist landscape oil painting pays great attention to the capture of light and shadow and the expression of color. Try to restore the vivid scenes of nature. Although the two differ in terms of tools, techniques and cultural roots, they share commonalities in aspects such as the observation and presentation of nature and the transmission of emotions. Both attempt to break through traditional limitations and present their perception of the world through unique language methods.
