Within the context of strengthening cultural confidence and advancing the development of a culturally strong nation, this study explores the construction of red animation intellectual property rooted in the ethnic minority cultures of Guangxi from the perspective of cultural identity theory, with particular attention to color expression. It proposes a translational pathway from cultural resources to identity experience, and emphasizes an IP development strategy centered on a composite narrative network and three-dimensional character design. Through an in-depth analysis of the encoding and decoding mechanisms of color language, the study reveals the crucial role of color in bridging revolutionary (red) spirit, ethnic cultural heritage, and contemporary aesthetic preferences. This research seeks to provide a theoretical framework and practical strategies for developing Guangxi-based red animation IP that embody cultural depth while fostering broad social recognition.
