Abstract
As an important carrier of cultural memory, traditional festivals' scene and environmental art design convey collective emotions and cultural identity through color media. In the process of global cultural integration, regional festival visual symbols are facing the crisis of homogenization and dissolution. As the first visual perception element, color plays an irreplaceable role in constructing the emotional experience and cultural narrative of festival spaces. In current environmental art design practices, there is a lack of systematic research on the cultural metaphor mechanism and spatial emotional regulation function of color, which limits the cultural depth and experience dimension of festival scenes. Therefore, this paper explores the semantic translation rules of color symbols in festival environments, deeply analyzes their cultural coding logic and emotional resonance paths in spatial scenes, with the aim of constructing a festival environment design methodology with cultural subjectivity and providing an innovative paradigm for the contemporary expression of traditional festival culture.
