Research on the Application Path of AIGC in Color Matching Teaching of Layout Design Courses

Abstract

As an important basic course for design majors, the color matching teaching link in layout design has long been plagued by problems such as students' insufficient perceptual experience, low color matching efficiency, and disconnection from commercial scenarios. This study combines literature analysis and teaching practice to explore the application path of AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) technology in color matching teaching within layout design courses. The findings indicate that AIGC can effectively enhance students’ creativity and commercial understanding of color through four stages: inspiration stimulation, scheme generation, intelligent evaluation, and dynamic adaptation. Empirical results show that AIGC improves efficiency and scientificity in color matching and promotes the transformation of design thinking from perceptual experience to data-driven logic. Finally, the study proposes an optimized Human–AI Collaboration teaching model to provide references for the intelligent reform of design education.
