Literature conveys color indirectly through linguistic signs, forming an image-generation mechanism characterized by "delayed manifestation": rather than being directly presented in visual form, color requires readers to actively reconstruct it within their consciousness based on personal experience, fully engaging psychological activities such as imagination and association to accomplish a highly individualized process of color production.It is precisely for this reason that literary reading serves as an effective means of cultivating a nuanced perception of color and resisting techniques of visual homogenization, thereby offering a unique interdisciplinary approach to aesthetic education in color.
