Abstract
In the current situation where primary school art education emphasizes the infiltration of traditional culture, traditional colors, as an important visual carrier of traditional culture, still have many problems in teaching practice. Many teachers only provide brief introductions to traditional color names such as blue, red, and yellow in the classroom, without delving into the generation logic of these colors originating from natural minerals and plants. They also lack effective guidance for students to apply them to painting, handicrafts, and other creative processes, resulting in primary school students' understanding of traditional colors only staying on the surface and unable to master their basic application methods. Based on this situation, the study focuses on the application of traditional Chinese colors in primary school art creation, exploring feasible ways to integrate traditional colors into primary school art creation, in order to provide practical reference for primary school art teachers to carry out traditional color related teaching.
