Research on Color Perception in Digital Design Narratives from the Perspective of Media Phenomenology

Abstract

Nowadays, digital media systems have become one of the important sources of visual experiences, and the color presentation forms and perceptual experiences are undergoing deep technical reconfigurations. This paper, based on the theory of media phenomenology, explores how color experiences are generated and transformed in digital design narratives under technical conditions. The study introduces the relevant methods of "color media technology analysis", proposes the concept of "technologically mediated color perception", and clarifies how color acquires new experiential perceptions under technological intervention. Through analyzing specific cases such as interactive narrative interfaces, immersive environments, and AIgenerated visuals, the research reveals that digital colors, under the mediation of technology, exhibit many characteristics such as dynamism, emotionality, and structuring; it also proposes the "three-dimensional model of digital narrative color perception", explaining the formation logic and media characteristics of color experiences from the perspectives of perception, technology, and narrative.
