color as the core visual language of watercolor creation, the subjectivity of its emotional expression is the direct projection of the creator's spiritual world and artistic ideas, and also an important source of watercolor works' appeal. Based on the core connotation of the subjectivity of color emotional expression, combined with the artistic characteristics of watercolor media, this paper analyzes the manifestations of color emotional subjective expression in watercolor creation, explores the main factors affecting the subjective expression, points out the main problems existing in the current creation, and puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies, in order to provide theoretical reference for the creators to enhance the subjectivity and uniqueness of emotional expression, and promote the deepening and innovation of watercolor creation in emotional transmission and artistic expression.
