In current artistic creation practice, color is an important visual element for creating aesthetic imagery, and color matching rules are the key basis for the rational use of color. However, many art creators do not attach enough importance to color matching rules when using colors, and the application process lacks systematicity, resulting in the inability to clearly convey the aesthetic conception that their works want to convey to viewers. To address these issues, the study first analyzed the role of color matching rules in building a harmonious and unified visual order, conveying accurately adapted emotional atmosphere, strengthening core theme expression, and shaping a layered spatial texture. Then, specific strategies for optimizing the creation of artistic aesthetic imagery were explored, in order to provide practical reference for art creators to scientifically apply color matching rules in practical creation.
