Milan Chongqing, renowned nationwide as an internet-famous tourist destination, attracts tens of millions of domestic and international visitors annually with its unique mountainous landscape and abundant cultural tourism resources. Among the city's numerous viral landmarks, Chongqing's rail transit system has emerged as a prominent showcase of urban identity through its distinctive line designs and station landscapes. The remarkable "light rail traversing residential building" phenomenon at Liziba Station on Line 2 has become one of the city's most iconic symbols. Notably, Chongqing's rail transit system employs differentiated thematic colors across its various lines, while each station's interior design and visual guidance system demonstrate distinctive personalized characteristics. This paper will conduct a preliminary analysis of the color application strategies in Chongqing's rail transit system from multiple perspectives, including the thematic color system of lines, spatial color design of stations, and visual identification of wayfinding systems.
