The concept of "green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver" provides solid support for rural revitalization. This article focuses on color as the main theme, exploring the integration path of color aesthetics and interior design teaching in technical colleges in the new era of "Dwelling in Fuchun Mountain". It systematically analyzes core teaching practices such as natural color extraction, regional cultural color transformation, functional adaptation color design, and green sustainable color application. It combines the color wisdom in traditional painting with the needs of rural revitalization, cultivates students color design ability, cultural expression ability, and green design concept, injects aesthetic vitality into interior design of rural residences, public service spaces, etc, and helps optimize rural living environment and innovate cultural inheritance.
